Josh Canale
Managing Member
Prior to founding Great Lakes Development Group, Josh gained 15 years of diverse experience in architecture and urban infill development. Josh participated in the design, construction and management of over $250 million in development in the City of Chicago, ranging from mixed-use, multi-family (affordable and market rate), office, retail and hospitality. He has extensive experience in public-private partnerships and managing complex projects.
Josh earned a bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame. He lives in Spring Lake with his wife and three children.
Jeff Royce
Managing Member
Jeff has executive leadership experience in real estate development and technology. Prior to Joining Great Lakes Development Gourp, he was President of a local cloud services provider. Before that role, he served as Executive Director of a technology incubator.
His real estate development experience began with a luxury golf course residential development before settling in with an urban mixed-use developer in Atlanta. Jeff spent the next 5+ years developing & delivering over $300M of projects.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Jeff graduated with a B.A. in Physics from Kalamazoo College & a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. He then earned an MBA in Finance & Real Estate from Georgia State University.
